1. Thrive Dance Open Class Week (Richland)
Open Class week is a whole week of free trial dance classes. Mon-Thurs
2. Bike to School Bootcamp (Richland)
This class is to prepare kids for the school commute and is targeted specifically at middle schoolers and those rising 6th graders who are biking further and on more challenging routes than they've commuted on before.
They will cover the basics of bike maintenance, how to fix a flat, tips to keep the bike secure on the bike rack, what the law requires, and navigating the urban environment (including route planning, on-road, and sidewalk riding). Wed-Fri 10AM-1PM
3. Only Murderers in the Bookstore: A True Crime Game Night (Kennewick)
Help Barnes and Noble solve a mystery or two during their true crime game night! Play games that will test even the most studied podcast-er or Ann Rule fan. Bring some friends or come as a lone detective, either way they'll need your help to solve the case! Wed @ 6PM

4. Back to School Health Fair (Pasco)
Free school supplies, free backpacks, free games, and snacks! Raffles and community health info tables. Fri 9AM-1PM
5. Back to School Bash (Pasco)
*Free Haircuts

*Free Medical Exams (Dental, Physicals, and Vaccines) Fri 4PM-6PM
6. Luau Dino Nite (Kennewick)
A Dino Drop-In luau celebration. Kids will make their own Stitch experiment, practice with ukuleles, make leis, and learn to hula dance. The night will end by watching Lilo and Stitch. Pizza dinner will be served. Fri 5PM-9PM

7. Titanium Man Junior Triathlon (Richland)
3RRR has designed a safe course with plenty of adult supervision that will be fun for kids ages 7-12 to challenge. The 250-yard swim will be in the river in a shallow area near shore with plenty of boat and swimmer support. The 4.5-mile bike leg is all on a bike path, except for a short portion in the boat ramp parking lot which will be heavily barricaded and controlled. Helmets are required and any bike in good working condition may be used. The 1-mile run will be completely on a foot path. Sat 9AM-11AM
8. World's Largest Pillow Fight Attempt (Richland)
A member of our community is trying again to break the world record! They hosted this event in 2011 and had almost 1000 participants.
Remember this is an ALL ages event so please keep it PG. Do not alter your pillows/pillow cases. No rocks. Bricks. Sticks. Jams or Jelllys. Basically if it doesn't go in your pillow at night when you sleep, don't put it in your pillow to bring. Sat 10AM-3PM
9. Fair Grand Parade (Kennewick)
The Fair kicks off with the grand parade! Sat 10AM
10. Eatz Pizzeria SMA Fun-raiser Event (Pasco)
Eatz Pizzeria is hosting a family fun day to raise money for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) in partnership with Harper and Hendrix Strong. Every August, they partner with Harper and Hendrix Strong to raise funds to help two local twins, Harper and Hendrix, with their battle against muscle dystrophy.
There will be eating contests, games, raffles, and pizza of course. Sat 11AM-2PM
