Summer is halfway through, but there's still plenty of fun to be had! Art YOUR Way has two more summer camps with plenty of spots left. Activities can be adapted for each child because art is as much about the process as it is the product and kids should put their own spin on the prompts. Nate was at the Japanese Art Camp and only put rice on his sushi art because he doesn't like to eat sushi. 😂 He came home with so much new knowledge about Japan and Hokusai! If you're in town, these camps are ones you won't want to miss. Morning camps are for ages 7-12 and afternoon camps are for ages 13+. Snack and water are provided.

Magical Fairy Tales (July 31-August 4)
Who doesn’t love a good fairy tale? Kids will learn about the art of Tamara Laporte and discuss multiple fairy tales to go with her art. Some examples are: Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Puff the Magic Dragon, Peter Pan, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Inner Reflection (August 14-18)
Inspired by the “Create YOUR Life Book” by Tamara Laporte, these projects dive deeper and are great for kids who are getting ready to go back to school. These mixed media projects have been designed to expand creativity and encourage personal growth. Kids will create their own quirky birds, zen butterflies, self-portraits, and mixed media collages all while discussing deeper questions such as “what is quirky about me?” and “ how can I transform and heal my inner critic?”
