Bring Your Bestie to Dance This Week!

Thrive Dance is Making Little Dancers' Dreams Come True

By Faith Spencer September 28, 2023

Dance class. Your Best Friend. This is what dreams are made of. Cue Hillary Duff!

My daughter was invited to attend a Bring Your Bestie class at Thrive Dance this week. And she loved every minute of it. For the first 35 minutes, parents/Guardians mingled outside on the Parkway of Richland. It is a nice place to walk, has many dining options, a wishing well fountain, and Howard Amon Park is less than a 5 minute walk from the studio. The last 10 minutes, we were all invited inside to view the pairs of friends perform an obstacle course, including a trustfall bridge where the students had to lean across a mat and support each other. Because they were each so excited to perform with their friend, there were no wary children or nervous vibes that usually accompany a first ever class!

All of the instructors and staff had giant smiles the entire time, from registration (so easy), to even after shoes were put on. As my daughter was putting her shoes on she couldn't help but show me one of the nursery rhyme dances she had learned. An instructor noticed and right away came over, got down on the floor, and helped her finish the dance. It was easy to see that the staff loved their jobs. Their advertising flyer boasts, "incredibly fun dance classes for busy families who value creativity and kindness".
