8 Free and Local Christmas Activities in the Tri-Cities this Week

Celebrating the holidays doesn't have to break the bank!

There are activities to enjoy inside and outside all week long! Enjoy as we kick off the Christmas season!


1.Visit Dancer and Dasher the Reindeer at Beaver Bark . My son was enchanted by them, and a warm fireplace was lit up to snuggle close by. Then walk inside and see the beautiful Coi fish in the pond - again, my son was entranced. Every day of the week during open hours.

2. Drive through the Senske Services Holiday Light Show. Every evening from 5pm-11:45pm. Non-perishable food item donations is all it costs. 

3. Search for Candy canes in the Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt put on by Pasco City and maybe win a prize! December 4-7th.

4. See Santa and receive a free gift from him at the Kennewick Irrigation District! 2-5pm on Wednesday and Thursday. 

5. Take a Journey to Bethlehem, put on by Kennewick Seventh-day Adventist Church. December 7-10th at 5:30pm.

6. Pet some animals for free at the Angel Brook Christmas Tree Jubilee. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

7. Make an ornament/wreath and visit with Santa at Queensgate Gardens, where they also have Christmas trees. Friday and Saturday. 

8. Watch two different Christmas movies at Pasco's Fairchild Cinemas with free mini popcorn per attendee.

Family Bingo at the Hub of Kennewick - Every Wednesday from 5-7pm.
