Free Family Fun Bike Ride

Fitness for the Fourth of July!

By Faith Spencer, Pasco Parks and Rec June 24, 2024

Get your red, white, and blue outfits ready, pack those bike helmets, bring water, and come out for a fun kick off to the 4th of July this Saturday, June 29th!

If you have a child that loves to ride their bike and maybe one that doesn't so much (like I do) this is an awesome event to help motivate them to try going a longer distance or to just encourage them as you join the ride!

There are four distances to choose from, so pick what works best for your family.

  • 2 miles
  • 4 miles
  • 5.25 miles
  • 7 miles

Each participant will get a punch card which is always motivating for kids. And then at the finish there will be snacks, and door prizes at 10am.

Want to join the fun, but don't have the bikes/trailers? Check out local bike rental places such as Greenies to snag what you need for a day of fun. Check out the fun shot above of our family on a rental tandem bike with a rental trailer when we first moved to the Tri-Cities.
