Haven Flower Farm is located in Kennewick and was named Tri-Cities best florist for 2023. For many residents, they are the best florist simply because people are allowed to go and pick the specific flowers that they love. Pay for a cup and fill it with the biggest, brightest blossoms - no limits on how many flowers, as long as they fit in your cup. If you attend in a larger group you can prepay for guests and get your cups at half price! I did this with a preschool coop that I participate in!
Talk to Mrs. Paris and you will open a wealth of knowledge about flowers, such as: what each flower is called - the names of flowers are often as intriguing as the appearance and what to do with each. You might learn that some flowers are edible, or that some are considered a weed, or that delphinium is one of the only naturally occurring blue blossoms. She can also give you tips on how to arrange your blossom selection and how to keep them fresh for as long as possible. Check out her flower arranging class offerings! I was able to participate in a class last summer - it was as incredible and as romantic as you can imagine! Consider it as an option for a birthday party, a baby shower, a wedding preparation event, etc.
Additionally, for the animal lovers there are several ducks around! But be especially aware and cautious of baby plants! Another suggestion is to wear close toed shoes and to skip using the stroller for this adventure.
