Free Disposal for West Richland Residents:
Unlimited number of loads.
• Bring your household garbage and yard debris. Commercial garbage will not be accepted.
• Chippers will be on site for tree branches and limbs. Items must be 3” or less in diameter.
• The City is unable to dispose of concrete, refrigerators, air conditioner units, propane tanks or household hazardous materials such as motor oil, antifreeze, refrigerant or paint.
• REMEMBER – Properly secure your load with ropes or tarps. Failure to do so may result in a $124.00 fine.
• Please do not bring your garbage in a cargo trailer, dump trailer, U-Haul trailer or similar large trailers as it creates problems with unloading.

Free light recycling with LightRecycle Washington.
• Bring: Fluorescent tubes, straight or curved shapes, CFLs, HIDs such as metal halide, mercury vapor and high pressure sodium. (Any light that contains mercury).
• Limit: Up to 10 mercury-containing lights per person.
